Yeps. I have a free account registered from Mitakuuluu, and I have been banned. I was on the latest verion of sailfish and Mitakuuluu.

coderus, it's about a new serverside feature of whatsapp, that you can see now when a message got read.

So it has now 3 states of message delivery:
- sent to server
- sent to device
- message opened on device

blue checkmarks showed up yesterday evening in android client for me.
maybe this change is how they track inofficial lients?

edit: this new "feature" was available without updating the app.

I've registered in Mitäkuuluu and I'm still using it. Never got banned. (Only once, in the Wazapp era :D)

About the new feature: Could you implement it as an option? Like not telling the Whatsapp server that I've opened the chat (or do telling the servers if the option is on)
I really don't like this feature, as I tend to ignore people quite often. :p

next mitakuuluu update will be in early december, so we have enough time to decide how this featurre should be implemented :)
