Started, progress bar moved veeeery slowly... then it kindly told me there was a problem with the store and stopped.

Is there anybody out there who successfully updated? I seriously doubt this new version of sailfish even exists. ;)

my phantom first install has now worked on the 2nd go, all upto date, still cant see how to get my calendar showing google content though

I don't see any progress bar and mine has been going for several hours now. Just a spinning circle :(

I got the apps in the store updated, but I will wait for things to quite down before I do the system update.

I've tried to upgrade also few times..but no luck.

On Android support app You can see cca 10000 downloads, so there is 10k jollas in Europe?

success! after quite a while (maybe half an hour) it suddenly went really quick and installed without any troubles

There's a nice little image above the area in which you see the spinning circle. Sailboat, sea, etc. The image gets brighter from left to right. That's the progress bar. All dark=0%; left bright, right dark=50% and so on.

Be careful with "pkcon update". There's more to an update and you may miss important stuff this way.

Thanks for the information. I'm so frustrated that I was just about to try from the terminal because store refuses to do anything for 3 hours now.

Thanks for the clarification. In that case my download has been stuck at maybe 2% for the last 3-4 hours.

I have already sent to together.jolla.com but I write here too in case anyone else has the same problem:

My phone reboot during a update and now fails to boot:
My Jolla phone reboot downloading Sailfish update 2 (1.0.2.5), and after that, the reboot process stays stopped on the splash screen (the screen with text Jolla). After waiting half an hour I have tried to reset the device by removing the battery but nothing changes. What I can do? I'm afraid I could I bricked the device. Any chance of reinstalling the firmware from scratch?

Just a warning here.
The update brings in a (very limited, very very limited) recovery partition. Basically it allows to factory reset the device.
BUT, it disables the option to fastboot custom kernel (which have already saved a few people, by enabling to create a backup of all partitions)

Still version 1.0.0.5 here and my Jolla tells me it's up to date :confused:

Any hint apart from doing a factory reset?

I have no problems with the store but I did not update the 7 apps he proposes me to update.

how can i put some contacts on my screen where the applications are?

with terminal.

Like adding some icons with contact on my applications screen. to call them direcly.

EDIT: skype work with my camera on jolla.

My update worked on the 3rd attempt. Really enjoying the world of Android camera apps.

All right, the upgrade to 1.0.2.5 (Maadajävri) has been installed for me too. I was curious what a Maadajävri is: it's a lake. I guess there are enough lakes in Finland to keep us happy for quite some time.

Darn, one would expect at least the system updates to work without some hazzle, if, lets say there are some flaws. Then again, we're still in beta phase :|

Nevertheless, "Camera support in Android apps" - Am I understanding this the wrong way, if thinking that like in Whatsapp, the camera-function should work?

I dont use Whatsapp but i think in Whatsapp the camera wont work because it does not have own camera interface or something like that. But i dont use it so not certain. Dont know if camera works in Mitakuuluu.

Why on earth would u need to reboot 50 times? I only spammed the Download option in pulley menu maybe 10-15 times and gave up and tried again few hours later and it finally downloaded. No reboots.

Camera support is still not good, works in 50% of the applications!

Android flashlight app now works (LED flashlight) - yay! :) android integration works slightly better, noticed that there are screenshots of apps in android "multitasking" view. Viber/Skype still uses loudspeaker only :/.

Not only camera works multiple ways now, android apps work at least two ways (tested on hill climb racing and angry birds go) and accelerometer controls are now fixed it seems, nice

Unluckily I just did that, and after a phone reboot I can see in the settings that the version number is the latest one. Did I miss something important? The store doesn't offer me the update anymore (obviously)...

Anything seems working perfectly though.
