Hi,

I want to use [App] Emoji Keyboard + French Keyboard in SMS.

without switch everytime the keyboard setting :(

How can I do?

With a long press on the space bar, you can easily switch from a keyboard to another.

When I send emoticone to other jolla phone with same rpm installed HE RECEIVED only

SMS may not support Emoji... Try Whatsapp / Mitakuuluu, works for me.

Message application or SMS sending in Jolla's SailfishOS core does not encode full Unicode character set properly. Thus sending Emoji mostly fails. Receival from other phones works perfectly except few symbol sent from iPhone have variant selector in use and Jolla can't process that properly and thus shows correct Emoji symbol but also square box after it.

Mitäkuuluu is processing those variant selectors correctly.

The Emoji Keyboard only includes means to write standard Unicode Emoji and a customized font to present all Emoji symbols correctly. It's then up to application and data transport if UTF-8 encoding is fully implemented.

Updated to version 0.2-5 available from Openrepos.net and in Warehouse.

• Remembers last symbol set and page used
• Favorite page has last 30 symbols typed
• Enter key added
• Font changed from Truetype to Opentype
• Active layout indicator added on top of keyboard

I will implement swipe as soon as I can find out how to do it. I would really like that more than using arrow keys.

Could you tell little bit more about this issue on your phone?

• Are you using Jolla or some other phone/tablet?
• What does this "don't work" mean? Keyboard not listed/Can't be selected/Symbols shown as squares/or how?
• Does this issue occur in some specific application or in all apps?
• Is this issue related to Android applications?
• How did you install it?
• Did you reboot after installation?
• Do you have other custom keyboards installed?
• Any screenshot available about this issue
