A new theme for a new month.
briest says:
"I'd suggest "red". Just red. In this gray time between winter and spring we all need a vivid color to think about...Maybe it should be told, that neither Moses parting the sea nor Lenin monument do not qualify as "red" despite obvious associations."

So, color red. It should be visible in the photo. But don't cross the red line here, no gross trauma images, you know what I mean!

Have some red wine and look at my humble examples for red.

Rules!
Photos must be taken during this month.
Photos must be taken by the posting member.
Photos must be taken with a camera phone.

That might be a problem for those of us like me without Facebook, Picassa etc accounts (and no, I do not want to create one; yes, I know it is "free").

So far I've been just using the TMO uploader which strips the EXIF but if it becomes compulsory then I am out.

I wish the TMO uploader was better.
Try and upload the photo with the exif then if you can.
You can always use sites like Postimg.

I almost had an entry..

got some quick questions before i post my entry. does the image have to be primarily red, or is it ok for only the subject to be red? also, is a little bit of post-processing still allowed? e.g. minor adjustments in brightness/contrast? thanks! :D looking forward to joining.

Minor post process adjustments are OK but I can't anwer the first question the best.
I think that there needs to be at least something red.

i was happy to have found some natural "red" in the midst of all the white! i hope this is alright since the red is pretty minimal.

Here's my entry, taken yesterday at my son's floorball-birthday-party. :)
Since it's without flash and handheld at 1/13s there's some apparent motion blur which however does not really obscure the feeling of the image.
Picture is slightly cropped to 3:2 format, as naturally Jolla takes a bit wider (9:4 format) images.

Red things as seen by Jolla. (EDIT: sorry, some programs just don't get Jolla's rotation corrected , Gimp gives a warning that the exif data says images is rotated but after saving... well too much hassle :rolleyes: )

here is yesterday's experiment with n900 and fcamera
i used a led light at an angle and .5s exposure
the goal was to 'hide' the glass and make everything float, but it can still be seem at the top right corner

Meet Olivia :)

My daughter goes to Rainbows (girl scouts in the UK) and they have this circulating doll. Each girl gets it for a week. You have to look after her, carry her around, show her places etc and then talk about it at the next meeting.

Today my daughter went ice skating and took Oivia with her.

Taken with my N900, no flash, no post-processing other than what the TMO uploader does.
