Re: [solved by NIELDK] Openssh=>5.7 for Sailfish ?
@nieldk: Try contacting Mer maintainers on the IRC. They should be able to fix the login issue:

Re: [solved by NIELDK] Openssh=>5.7 for Sailfish ?
How can I remove this openssh package and restore the original version by Jolla? If I try to uninstall it through Warehouse I get these warnings:
Transactions /1103_bdccedea Status: dep-resolution-failed Extra details: This request will break your system! Dismiss |
Re: [solved by NIELDK] Openssh=>5.7 for Sailfish ?
from terminal, as root
# pkcon repo-disable openrepos-NielDK Then forcibly erase the three openssh packages installed from there: # rpm -e --nodeps openssh openssh-clients openssh-server When you reinstall them now, they're pulled from the official repo, so just do: # pkcon install openssh openssh-clients openssh-server |

I guess package openssl-libs should be also upgraded to 1.0.2. Actually, mosh got broken by mixing openssl 1.0.2 with openssl-libs 1.0.1j

Thanks for the quick update, but now 'libprotobuf9' is needed for the new package but missing from the repo.

Good job! But mosh is still not working properly here: something is wrong with mosh-server (I cannot log in the phone); mosh-client is ok though.

Re: [solved by NIELDK] Openssh=>5.7 for Sailfish ?
From my comments on openrepos:
here is a few hints (as root) nano -w /etc/ssh/sshd_config Change: UsePAM no To: UsePAM yes or, simply sed -i 's/#UsePAM\ no/UsePAM\ yes/g' /etc/ssh/sshd_config also edit your ~/.bashrc file to include export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8 |
Re: [solved by NIELDK] Openssh=>5.7 for Sailfish ?
Right, sshd_config got rewritten somehow and PAM option was unset again after the update. Putting it back solved the issue, kiitos (for the tip)!
