Hey!

I would like to see a patch for the app-grid:

Would it bee possible to patch it to be scrollable like it is in edit mode. I sometimes find it super difficult to launch some apps that are on the top 2 rows in grid when using the phone with one hand.

In addition if it would be possible it would be cool if it still switched a whole page down when scrolling fast or something like that...

After applying patches Developer mode just won't apply and OS version in Update OS won't show.
Gets stuck when trying to uninstall patches.

Not concerning to patchmanager, but I tried to install this new OS update and it failed. Then booted and battery and cell status is blank. (Phone works, but it does not show any connection) Battery status could be seen with Charge Monitor.

Unluckily I booted the phone, so it lost all the logs so Jolla could not check the phone errors...

Now my precious is in Jolla personnel (friend of mine) hands and hope to get this updated and working soonest possible :)

Back to N9 atm.

Same happened to me. I had to do a factory reset. Then I upgraded to 1.1.4.28.

Just got info that the reason on my case was (according to my friend) this openrepos software called Phonebook.

The problem is between device and chair.

It's not possible

Edit: Now that I got device back, I noted that this force 3x3 and 5x6 does not work. (Launcher combined patch neither)

Also eventsview device lock does not work. But I will eagerly wait! This is just FYI :)

Updated, scrambled it. A bit afraid to try everything out again!
Reset to factory, then again update to 1.1.4.28.
Now, I only have events view and am bit afraid to try everything out again!
Remember someone writing about how Phonehook was screwing things.
Not very sure about myself! Sorry for being a noob! Nowhere near been a dev myself.
So, does anyone know what patch to use or not, or is it all safe?
or is it a secret?

problem is in phonehook application installed, and it's totally unrelated to current thread and patchmanager. all patches are safe.

Hi there.
I have installed last version of "more network modes" patch.
But i have a little problem, if choose 4G+3G or 3G+2G it will NOT be saved when i go back and reopen mobile netwoks again.
if i choose Any, only 4G, only 3G, only 2G it will be saved, when i go back an reopen mobile networks again.
i want choose 3G+2G, but thats not possible what i'm doing wrong ?

Anybody know which version of the eventsview patch works for 1.1.2.16.

warehouse on Nexus 5 doesn't actually find it so I assume its not there anymore?

For old sailfish versions you need to manually open openrepos.net site and download older version of package manually by clicking on file, and install it manually bu clicking on downloaded file.

I need to get some more feedback but my first tought is some of your patches work better with 1.1.4.28:
- Music player controls on lock screen doesn't seem to disappear now
- I can disable mobile data from the switches in event view which was not possible with the previous system update.

Great! I just miss the 5*6 launches grid for now.

OLa all,

The 5x6 grid is a part of the advanced patches. None of these pathes works. Most of the patches in this pakket are not that usefull anymore. Maybe Sfiet_Konstantin can make the single patch for only 5x6 grid.

The patches installed on mine jolla made bij coderus seems to work.

Keep up the good work i start to love mine jolla

Just installed the 1.1.4.29. All patches I've work fine except the Eventview Controls. When I try to uninstall it: "Failed to remove patch". And it doesn't work, of course.

Is there a way to remove it via ssh?

Thanks, everything is now fine on 1.1.4.29. So people, don't forget to unapply patches before updating your Jolla.

Did not work :D (Patches propably works, but phone of mine is not working..)

Propably it is still this phonehook, what caused problems. My personal Jolla-support will check this phone today.

I updated this phonehook and still bricked my device. No it just can´t be used. When turn on the phone, it give white screen and does not go anywhere..

Edit: Yup. Still was the problem with the phonehook... I already updated it, but somehow the older version did not uninstall and there were 2 different versions on phonehook. The older one bricked the device.

This 3x3 is part of the advanced patches and this patch has not been updated, so it will not work.

Coderus, Eventsview controls attached page does not seem to support landscape mode. I think it did earlier, or do I remember wrong?
