I just tried to install voice call combined from web cataloge and something strange happened, I've no longer got the dialer. Anyone know what packages I need to reinstall it??

beware: the new Mazelock should NOT be installed on the 2.1.0 using Jolla C, you can (almost) not use your phone anymore...

Thanks coderus for the update of Mazelock.

Unfortunately I am still having issues to get it updated..

I upgraded the phone and I have patches applied.

But now, when I try to uninstall/unapply mazelock, it says that "Failed to remove patch"

I went to web catalog and I installed this new mazelock, but it is not working. (does it has something to do that I had this old version still installed within upgrade?)

Sorry, I did not had time to describe the entire problem, but I had to put a warning asap to people before they will get problems using their phones :p


The problem is the new Kalman filter that they added.
Basically, you cannot swipe between the dots now (it's VERY VERY VERY hard !)
I tried like 5 minutes to unlock the phone :(

did you really tried with last version? I am using mazelock on jolla c with 2.1 with no problems.

I am using my phone only on charger. Maybe this is the reason? Try with charger :)

Tried that. Wasn´t succesfull.

I mean, that it got uninstalled, but it lost other stuff too :D

Gladly I have one frien on Jolla, so I got my phone working again. Perhaps I am not playing with terminal anymore :D

Since some release of Sailfish I hate this feature to jump to the last opened application. Is it possible to create a patch which disable it?

I too am using the latest version of Mazelock and sometimes it is amost impossible to unlock the device. Seems to be much worse the first time after a reboot.

Okay, I reset my phone a couple of hours ago and updated to Iijoki and installed only a couple of apps and google play so far. I haven't fiddled with Patchmanager before. I tried installing patchmanager 2 with warehouse, but got this error. Did not find any info if it required anything else before installing so i'm asking here what am I missing.

I was wondering if anyone is working on a patch to allow for a VPN toggle in the events view page to switch on off instantly? I would find this very helpful.

Why? It's pretty awesome. By the way I will not support patches as rpm-packages anymore except Ultimate Statusbar patch because it has unexpected troubles with ports.

That might be so but as far as I am concerned, it is the beginning of a slippery slope. We started with a single source for installing things from, then we had two, now we have three. Where will it end?

I can see where you're coming from, and if Warehouse ever gets updated it could/should have the Patchmanager web catalog integrated (as everything is hosted on OpenRepos anyway). Then again, patches aren't really applications but mostly about cosmetics, and then OpenRepos might as well host background images (in a sense it probably does so already with the random ambiences here and there).
