Good Morning guys! I have installed the patch from @jakibaki:
"Make keyboard vibrate when key is pressed"
The patch was installed from the Patchmanager Web catalog

on my Sony Xperia X F5121, SailfishOS 2.1.4.15
No i can't disable and can't remove it.

Can someone tell me how i can get rid of it?

pkcon remove prepatch

removes the whole thing. If you just want to remove the patch look for the package name and replace the "prepatch" with it.

Sorry haven't read it correctly. You installed the patchmanager version.:o

Just wanted to test that, but can't install it over webcatalog on 2.1.4.15, no compatible version. Have you at som time forgotten to disable it for an update? If so try to delete the folders of the patch from

It does install under SFOS 2.1.4, if you have PM2's "Developer mode" switched on in its pulley menu, but one cannot apply it (as files to patch were altered since SFOS 2.1.3).

But I also assume that @explit updated SFOS without having all Patches unapplied, which is strongly recommended to avoid.

Sure, thanks for report. I disabled fuzz in latest ausmt utilities. So patches which should not apply would not apply :)

But it makes extra work for patch makers to make minor updates for each release or so.

Where does patchmanager (3) get the information from which system version is installed? I have the version --dup problem where "system update available" is shown in the event view and I cannot get it away (@mosen did many reboots but this does not work here...).

Yes I know, I can use the developer mode in patchmanager, but because I start it from scratch it would be fine to make it without...

With patchmanager 3 I get only installed so far:

Launcher combined patches (openrepos)
Ambience Powermenu2 (openrepos - needed reboot to get it patched)

All other stuff from my list two pages earlier fails. All web catalog stuff (including the new voicecall combined) fails (and it is shown for 2.2.0.29 - not compatible!).

There are app crashes if you deinstall a web patch.

New ausmt doesn't work with fuzz, but old one does. I don't have enough time to rewrite all my patches without fuzz because I should work to have some money. So you should downgrade your patchmanager or wait.

I need some time to clean my code for both pm compatibility and they will work. But I use pm2 atm.

Coderus, while using your patch "launcher combined patches" i can't uninstall apps directly from the grid shortcuts anymore. If i long press a shortcut it shows the "X" as expected but after the remorse counter ends, nothing happens and the app stills there.

Following up the started bug report on openrepos.net (Vieno). I'm using maemo.org to submit the patchmanager logs collected with journalclt.

I hv little knowledge about linux, in other words I do trial and error only.

What I did so far and what happened:

disabled all patches
upgraded to pm3
enabled all patches (at least the one which where working)
all was good except for "launcher combined patch"
restart phone
no more patches in pm3
restart again with no change
uninstalled pm3
installed pm2 again
pm2 didn't work
uninstalled pm2
tried to remove all patched via terminal session (didn't work)
installed pm3 again
all patches where there and applied
tried to unapply all of them ("unapply all" didn't work, so I did manually which worked except for 3 patches
restarted the phone again
all patches gone from pm3 + feels very laggy (settings app even shows program hangs overlay))
create log

I may hv missed a few steps. Can't remember what I did exactly.

Hopefully it help to pinpoint the problem.

I just have problems with the launcher combined patch nevertheless if it is the web catalog (1.0.1) one nor the newest from openrepos (fresh installed): Both just do not start to patch, no error message, patchmanager (3) just blinks once and then nothing is happening.

The patch worked (let's say both patches worked) till I restarted the phone (and then I de-patched and tried to patch again).

I tried to patch it alone (dependencies to other patches) but without luck. JollaC. I guess this is asked before: How can I help? Where can I generate logging output?
