Nokia N900 wifi problem
 

hi can anyone help me. my nokia n900 is unable to connect to my wifi. it only allows me to key in 5 digits wep but my wifi password is 10 digits! HELP!

I have done a hard reset on my N900.

Keep your question in one place, please.

WEP password length is either 5 or 13 characters, nothing else.
So 10 is not possible for a WEP. Maybe you have WPA/2?

hi Peter. what is a WPA/2? actually i had my n900 since 2011 but i stop using it for about 3 years already. so im quite out of date. can u teach me how to connect to wifi? thanks!

Go to system settings connections and edit the desired WiFi.
There you can change the security method. Set it to WPA-PresharedKey. This most probably will work (as you say you have 10 char password).
