Sorry for my english im from Poland ;)



Hello, im have big problem with my N900 im tried to unzip BackTrack 5 image on EMMC using terminal and im get message "0MB Free Continue?(Y/N)" I gave Y and im get error "not enough memory"
im closed terminal and opened Faster Application Manager and saw rootfs: 0MB Free. Im opened Filebox and select EMMC and my phone reboot im saw U-Boot and selected Maemo but not booted im try NITDroid N12 and... BOOTED :) next im try Nemo Mobile but not booted :(. How to fix it? :P

PS: This BackTrack 5 image http://sourceforge.net/projects/linu...e.zip/download :D

You tried to unpack it where exactly (as in, what path)? It sounds like your simplest fix is just to wipe that directory. It did not fully unpack anyway so you are unlikely to break anything.

Yes, run find / -name backtrack as root in your terminal and show us the result.

Hahah, I can't believe how dumb I was back then. I was like 12 years old and thanks to this phone I now f*****g love Linux!

Damn devices got under my skin like weevils from the moment I got my first one...
Hell...
I learned more about Linux from my first n800...
than I did from the Linux distros I used at that time)

yep, same with me (more or less, I was already in the 40ies!) :)

needed to flash device for some reason because I could resolve some issue due to devel catalogue and bless or fcamera or so
at least I learned to flash (never did any more else preparing 'new' device) :D
