I AM AN IDIOT SORRY

i made some stupid mistake in the pcb and did not thoroughly test this.... have to order new pcbs.... not going to make xmas this year :(

totally my bad. will notify the 8 people that are already sent and will send replacement pcbs when i get new ones. pulled item from story untill resolved.

I just received mine today. But now I see the PCB is incorrect?

Also with the new PCB would it be possible to get instructions on which component goes where and the orientation? It's not directly obvious to me, I'm a bit new to this type of electronics :-)

Let me know if I should give you my order number, not sure about posting it on a public forum though.

I'll have to trim my TOH a bit to get the PCB to fit, there's not chance of pressing it down. What's the tolerance for the alignment?

Yes, some are quite big. There is now quite a margin for the alignment - this was the reason the first batch of pcbs went down the bin.

You should be able to scratch off 0.5mm at any side for it to still align. Then it should definitely fit.

Hello Dirk any everyone!
After some issues with my breadboardOH and the eeprom, i found out a solution worth posting, i guess. In the guide it says to run harbour-i2tool as root, but I did not have success with that one.
In kimmoli's manual he states that :

Is the way to go, and solved it for me after a lot of headscratching.

ps. My jolla can now detect lightning ;)

Starting as root works with following:

But the above is good also. It forces tohd to release eeprom.

Made some half-sized LeTOH on BBTOH,

1 x PCA9685
1x tssop28 breakout and headers
15x 50 ohm R
15x LEDs (2V, 20ma)
some wires
BBTOH

Works like a charm.

Anyone else with BBTOH care for sharing their projects?? This is one of my non-profit projects, would be nice to see some cool stuff here!

I was planning to buy two. For me and my Buddy, an Application Developer who only recently has received his Jolla and often develops projects through Raspberry PI and similar stuff.
It was planned to be a surprise for him. :D

But he has doubts whether he keeps the device (which he also got from a developing friend who was not pleased, although he hasn't even updated the device properly :confused: ) or not.
So I wanted to wait till Sailfish OS 2.0 arrives, then, I hope so, he can make his decision. :(

But if its Out of Stock, it is Out of Stock and we have to look for an offer on ebay or in the community.

restocking on smd parts, have some pcbs left

will probably offer it without casing and breadboard, but with links and files for that.
