Hi. Es gibt leider bis jetzt keine Lösung für dieses Problem. Ursache dafür sind wohl Protokolländerungen seitens WhatsApp, die zwar bereits in yowsup (von tgalal, darauf basiert whatsup) integriert sind, aber noch nicht in den Programmcode von whatsup für das N9 übernommen wurden. Die Sailfish-Version scheint hingegen bereits aktueller zu sein, denn dort tritt dieses Problem nicht auf: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...hatsup&page=63

Hi. Unfortunately, there is as yet no solution for this problem . The reason for this are well- protocol changes by WhatsApp , which, although already integrated in yowsup ( from tgalal , it is based WhatsUp ) , but have not been included in the program code of WhatsUp for the N9 . The Sailfish version on the other hand seems to have been current , because there does not occur on this issue

I have no problems with Whatsup on N9 but why can't you guys that have problems send your log files to Cepi???

I sent Cepi a PM with my Logfile...

at the end of this log is always:

The only problem I see is you're getting notifications and whatsup doesn't send a response, then server closes connection.
There's two things you can do about this:
1- Keep trying to connect. Eventually those notifications will stop and connection will get stable again (at least until you get more notifications).
2- Wait for the person that is working on whatsup to release an update. I don't know when this will be. Stop asking me about it, please.

NEVER TRY REMOVING ACCOUNT!

BTW: Whatsup is not based on yowsup, it's more like yappari.

A stable connection I have both Wi-Fi as well as my 3G. Unfortunately separates the WA-server every minute to connect, until the connection attempts aborted with error message. Would it be possible that this problem is due to the German WA-servers? On my account , I have never changed anything.

I can confirm similar issue from slovakia. It started yesterday that i cant send/receive messages and at evening i was even unable to connect.

After Deactivation of read receipt and Availability on "always offline" i can temporarily receive messages and send :)
Connection is still unstable but at least is WU usable again...

Hi all, I can send messages, I can even see that person on other side is typing msg, but I am not able to receive it. any suggestions?

my Jolla phne broke down so I am back to using my n9 and I actually enjoying it much more than Jolla, but, really missing whatsup,
