Out of the loop, how to get back
 

Hi good people,

I'm an old Openmoko Freerunner user, then Nokia N900 for many years.

Then I got a new job and they gave me an S3 that has been working nicely with custom roms or cyanogenmod for some years.

Now I got my self a Jolla and feel like home. I can not use it as my daily driver yet, because of some android apps I have to use.

So my question is, what has happen the last 2 years? Where's the software? How is the development going with Sailfish? This android app is kinda confusing. Can I have access to the Google Play store or do I have to use 3rd party stores?

I also use google location history tracking all the time on my S3. Is there something like that for Sailfish?

I'm not up to date entirely on my Meego to Sailfish history, but I can help you get the Google Play store on your Jolla.
