need blind dumbed down backup guide for ZTE Skate
 

Hi,

a friend gave me a ZTE Skate (stock Android ROM - I guess 2.3.x) with a dead display (no TFT, no backlight) but with working touch screen and otherwise seemingly working fine.

I'd like to get the data from this device (mainly contacts) but since I have no clue about the UI I don't know where and when I have to tap to either allow a connection to my PC (Debian) via USB or backup data to a µSD card.

I know it's asking a lot but could someone with this device (or one with exactly the same UI) please provide step by step screenshots/photos from login to actually making a backup?
