Mostly is lipstick cause the crash. For me I use home refresher and power key menu in openrepos, then set double click power key button to restart the lipstick, this is useful if your homescreen got touch no response etc

This is good way too, using powermenu entry there is no need for ssh connection. I'd say this should work for @pichlo too :)

Update downloading from Jolla servers, so it cannot be another person pushing updates to your phone.
