Anyone selected by jolla to get a devTablet in june (Upgrade 16,5 with 2.0?)

Multi-window mode Windows is finally the important :D

Samsung has had IT for years. Nobody cared:rolleyes:
Apple announced IT for upcomming release yesterday...everybody wants IT :D
Android Will probobly get IT later this year since apple got IT.

Its a brilliant feature...
But the best part. Jolla Will also have IT(atleast the basic two screens)...hoppfully not far off now. Could be release 17...

might be closer than you think:
@ElGris: Jolla’s tablet split screen on SailfishOS. http://t.co/drlU9w1N7i

Upon closer inspection this still looks like the mockups :C

Multi-window was already present on webOS a few years ago (I know, 'cause I've switched from webOS tablet+phone to SailfishOS), then Samsung followed with a slightly different approach, then MS followed with Win 8 and now Apple is following too. So it's not like it's something special but it's a great feature nonetheless :)

Yes. It's special because it could makes the big dragooons to make improvements in the multitasking area. More user focus.

And Sony's version of Android allows multiple windows too though they're floating windows that you can drag about the screen over a full screen app rather than split-screen. They have to be specially written as 'Small apps' though.

Typically you'd use them for post-its, calculators etc. Semi-handy on a tablet, not so much on a phone.
