I can accept only real money via PayPal directly to my bank account. I can't live on bitcoins :)

I would bet there are services that do the exchange in Russia as well.

On the oher hand: have you been thinking of a proxy in the EU that can receive Euro bank transferes?

So coderus, what sort of sized donation is needed to continue work on Mitakuuluu? I want to use it, but need to be able to delete conversations and be able to send/receive media etc...

figured it's better just to ask, rather than tip toe around the subject.. I'm sure many people on this forum are wondering the same thing :)

Good for you :D Some special coffees in Finland might exeed about 5 to 6 e (though not the regular coffee..)

Do u mean starbcks like coffee? here we are not used to consume them..even if i like frappuccino!! thats why there isnt any starbucks shop in italy.

We have only few starbucks, but I mean special coffees in cafe just like starbucks. It is called coffee house in Finland and these has very expensive coffees ;)

ok stop off topic about coffee..ahahahaha...coderus do you know what will be next implementation? for what regards audio recording can i ask u to implement .aac in order to allow nexus 5 too ( only format supported)?

PS: i want to report that on nexus 5,powersave and tor setting icon dont scaled to the correct dimension ( they seems not adaptable like other patches)

Registering international bank account here is more expensive. And of course you cant do any transfer to local russian accounts :)

Bitcoin, but it has a (tiny) learning curve.

I get them from bitonic.nl and bitmymoney.com

save it in a Multibit wallet.

I accidentally deleted all the messages in one group chat, while my Jolla was lagging.

Is there possibility to get those messages back? From some log etc? :)

Got mine from a local Bitcoin marketplace (e.g. clevercoin.com).
Have a look for a russian market place
- open an account
- transfer your Bitcoins to that account,
- exchange those to your local currency
- transfer local currency to you local bank account

Unfortunately all the market places I found only deal with western currencies. Hope you'll find one in Russia.

Hi & thanks for the nice program.

I was wondering whether the source code is actually available, because I'd very much like to see if I could help development. Especially the problems with unknown contacts are bugging me - just received a message of a friend that had a new phone number registered with WhatsApp and the program didn't even show the message, let alone the phone number. So I had to load the android app to get the number and the message.

I also donated some money, but I think in the end providing patches could be a faster way to get added functionality.

Help - my Mitakuuluu lost its marbles! Literally, it seems - I was using it yesterday evening for reading some messages and everything was fine as far as I can tell. I then switched off internet while leaving Mitakuuluu running (as I usually do overnight) - and when I re-enabled internet this morning, Mitakuuluu did not switch to "online" after that (something which has worked flawlessly so far). When I opened the app, I was immediately greeted with the registration screen - it looks as if Mitakuuluu has lost all information about account, addressbook etc.

First of all: What can I investigate to see whether I can salvage anything? (No, I don't have any recent backup of /home/nemo - of course not... :rolleyes:)

Second: If I do have to do the registration procedure again - is there anything I have to be careful with to avoid getting banned?

Tried to register, but it says

Registration error.

Reason: Protocol version outdated, sorry. Please report this issue and wait for application update.
