[Sold] PROTO N900 (broken flex ribbon cable)
 

So I'm selling my spare Nokia N900.
The phone is fully working, except the flex ribbon cable (screen goes on when keyboard is open).
The notification light goes white when turned on and you can hear the Nokia startup sound.

On the sticker is whiten:

I have received the package today.

I use Win7 64 Bits with libusb-win32-bin-1.2.6.0 (for drivers update mode)

Why i have hw revision 2101 like regular one? instead of hw rev. 2003.

It's strange...:(

perhaps somebody can explain me? please.

nb. like if we have commercial N900 instead of a prototype device.

The hardware also looks different to the one I sent you, I seem to remember different writing on the back of the slide mechanism.

Why the proto hw revision is not the same with Flasher application? when i connect with usb to pc.

I sent you a n900 proto some time ago, and from memory everything about the outer case was different, ( N00, different writing on the reverse of the slide, different battery door etc)

I think it looks like normal N900 with the wrong sticker in it!

After some test with my commercial N900 full LCD I think ex N900 prototype owner had tried to install last maemo version on prototype device s3.2 and had changed the hardware revision... perhaps s3.2 doesn't support last maemo OS. it's probably because screen is black (i have tested with my working frontside lcd commercial n900) at startup even after boot.
Or device was broken down in the past...
