The main issue from what I can understand is EFI support. Linux does not support 32 bit EFIs. So make sure whatever Windows Tablet you are buying has a 64 bit EFI and a 64 bit version of Windows. I wasn't able to check as to whether it was 32 bit or 64 bit Windows. There might be some driver issues regardless of what device you are buying, but I can't imagine them being too substantial and if there are there are probably workarounds.

Well the problem as I have seen is the manufacturers scrape their costs down by using chipsets that are borderline, for instance the Broadcom chipset in the Iconia can either have wifi or it can have bluetooth, but not both at the same time. Ditto that for other stuff inside the Atom hardware cage that is all configured to work okay for a couch potato but struggles to get out of bed when required to do some heavy lifting.
64 bit EFI is out - I have run Debian Solydx and Tails on my Iconia, but there are so many other ghastly issues involved I am tempted to make a blender advertisement out of it.

I see the x5 you mention in the lilliputing page,

I will check around and see if I can get my hands on one or something like it here and see what I can spool up on it.
Thanks
