Re: [Intex][LTE] European LTE bands on Intex
I read all the messages here but can't get a status. Finally, do you manage to get all LTE bands working on the Intex ?

The problem was that the cache folder returned in the misleading error from pkcon download: Code:
Fatal error: Insufficient space in download directory '/var/cache/pk-zypp-cache/packages/adaptation0'.Code:
mkdir -p /var/cache/pk-zypp-cache/packages/adaptation0 |
Re: [Intex][LTE] European LTE bands on Intex
Hello there.
I'm new here. My intex aqua fish sees several 4G operators. But It can't connect to one, which I have SIM from. Only 2G/3G. "systemctl status ofono always returns registration failed, ril result 2 (I can past all listing or listing of other commands). Is this the problem about LTE bands in EU discussed in this thread? I've read several forums and I've tried several things. I've tried more SIMs from other operators (Orange, T-Mobile, SWAN, I'm from Slovakia). These SIMs can connect to 4G on other phones running android. I've tried coderus patch and ofono. I tried flash firmware droid-modem-l500d-eu and revert it back to -in. I've tried several handlings and edditings with /etc/ofono/ril_subscribtion.conf and in /var/lib/ofono/files. I've tried these on sailfish 2.0.2.51 and early acces 2.0.4.13. I hope my APNs is setted correctly. Nothing helps. Any idea? What I'm doing wrong? What else I can try? Thanks for any reply. |

Use https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...iscovery&hl=en Or something similar (i don't know what else is available as i dont use android) Check what LTE/4G bands you can see with Android phone: If those bands are not in this list: http://www.intex.in/mobile/smartphon...fications.html Bands 3,5 (FDD) and 40 (TDD) - try to find place where you get one of those bands (from network provider coverage map or walking in the city center and around the country) -> if your network provider does not support any of those bands -> you can not do anything If one of those is visible in Android phone. Stand in the precise same spot all the time. Put that SIM to intex and you should get LTE/4G if APN settings are ok. If not -> continue debugging. |
Re: [Intex][LTE] European LTE bands on Intex
In Germany only T-Mobile can connect to 4G / LTE on the Intex. All other Providers, which work in LTE-Networks out of the Box on Jolla 1, Fairphone 2 and OnePlus X can't use 4G at all, because of the missing Bands.
