In the Xperia X camera settings it says 20mp.
I believe, the picture is bigger but the issues remain. The quality did not improve, just the size did. Not an expert on the subject though..

Settings said 20 Mpx but it was still only 16 Mpx. Switched to 4:3 (13 Mpx), took a picture and then switched back to 20 Mpx. Now the pictures are indeed 5984x3392.

Are any official dual sim Tablets available for SFOS?

Inoi T8 and T10 are expected to hit the market soon™. (probably not much in terms of end user units as these are targeted to Russian B2B clients. Most likely without Alien Dalvik support, same as Inoi R7)

I eventuually succumbed to the pressure and got a used X + a new Sail license. The installation process was unnecessarily painful. Things were not explained as clearly as they could have been, necessary files were not included or at least linked and I had to make a generous use of online searching, reading other sources and downloading the wrong things a few times before arriving at the right files... All in all, I really would expect a much, much better service. Very disappointed.

Maybe the instructions were written with certain assumptions, such as that you know about various Android development related things, but that is a strange assumption considering that Sailfish is supposed to be an Android alternative.

Once installed, the OS runs smoothly, but one would expect that, considering that it runs smoothly on J1 and X has a three timed better hardware. But - and it is a big but - I find it unusable for daily use for the simple reason that it is waaaaay too big and cumbersome. I got fooled by the official specifications: only about 1cm longer than J1. That may be so, but it still feels far too large. Maybe because J1 is already too large, although I got used to it already.

So I am using it only for experimenting. One experiment was updating to 2.2.1. This is the result. Nothing helps, not even pressing the power button and holding it for about a minute. What now? Let the battery run down and hope? Flash again? Throw away the damn thing and forget the whole folly?

I got it right, that it stuck to that screen?
Have you tried to hold "power" and "volume up" together for several seconds?

It's been a while, that I installed Sailfish X.
But beeing just a average Linux user, I had no problems Installing Sailfish X following exactly the instructions.

Yes, that is correct.

I have now. The phone rebooted back into 2.2.0.29 and said an update was ready. I said OK, install it and got back into the same screen. The "Reboot" text starts off white but once I tap on it, it turns cyan and the whole thing freezes.
