The Links Web Browser
Yo!
Another port I finally got working :) The Links web browser is now compiled and packaged for the ITs. Enjoy ;) http://geekpenguin.blogspot.com/2007...er-for-it.html |
Re: The Links Web Browser
Very nice, most people may not care about this program but I know I like the command line programs. They may not be very pretty but there seems to be less issues with them. Thanks!

Re: The Links Web Browser
You may be interested in the (non-graphical) links port within MUD - which makes it easier to do these sort of trivial ports.
It should be straightforward to change the MUD version to graphical, although there's probably very little advantage to that with the input-method problem. |
Re: The Links Web Browser
The graphical input problem means that in graphical mode you can't read the NY Times because you can't input your username and password.

Oh yes, right, the link -g works, only if I can gently blow kiss on the URL to see something :p Good work, thanks. bun |
Re: The Links Web Browser
What OS are you using? I don't have that side menu on the HE, but it is there on the 06'. It is an xterm feature, not a links... :(
Sorry, maybe go through xterm's menus? Or try to download a new version. |
Re: The Links Web Browser
Ah, well, here? something.
If you have a bluetooth keyboard, it does work within the graphical links, which is prettty useful :) |
