One could say, maemo is a for mobile smartphones/ARM processor optimized version of debian/ubuntu. It also uses apt and some gnome-libraries (e.g. gconf), so why would anybody want to try porting...

How to select mass storage mode by default?
Hi,
I wondered whether it is possible to select mass storage mode automaticly when you plug in USB.
This would be very useful, because I never use the PCsuite...
Any suggestions?

Is the light sensor, probably you get with your hand sometimes over it while playing, so the device thinks its dark and lowers the display brightness (raises again when your hand goes away)...

What I like is that it opens and works so incredibly fast, using fahrplan is much faster than open the homepage in the browser... I think there is much potential in this app :-)

I'm not a pro with flash, but I suppose it won't be that easy, because the flash player plugin is just an embedded part in the browser. I've never heard about a standalone flash player yet.
