Cool, I'll try that for mic support. For the time being, I'm getting by with using just a stereo extension cord. It gets me audio just fine.

Yeah...It's protocol. Mine is a 'Made for iPhone' device. I thought Nokia switched to that pin layout at the N900.

Headset Compatibility on the N9?

Anyone else having any wired headset compatibility problems?

I have a pair of Sony Earbuds with an inline mic/volume button, and the phone either won't recognize it at all, or pipe through a bunch...

I haven't yet. Even PR1.2 doesn't fix it. I'll try a complete reflash when I have a chance to.

Still no luck. Deleted the other device from each one (N900 from MacBook, MacBook from N900).

Any other thoughts?

Under Linux and the Browser profile, I'm only getting Video, no audio transcoding for me whether through FlowPlayer or opening the stream through VLC.
