It seems like it doesnt work with some background files,
also, i found that battery consumption when idle increases, as it seems like the cpu doesnt go to sleep..

Had a similar problem awhile back. I thought it could be a faulty digitizer and so i ordered a new one.. But then i reflashed the whole thing and it its been fine.
So maybe try to reflash?

replacing digitizer
Hi, I seem to have a failing digitizer on my N900, and I was thinking of replacing the digitizer myself. I'm just wondering if anyone here has tried that? If so, any tips?

maybe u should try to drain the battery and recharge. I've noticed fast battery drainage after PR 1.2, but after i drained the battery and recharged to full its back to normal. Could be a calibration...

my antivirus is the Avast free version which doesnt come with firewall i think.. and i tried to disable windows firewall but still the same thing.

yes it can connect to the internet via router
CANT ping my laptop and my laptop cant ping my n900 either..
from the n900 it just stays at the first PING line, from the laptop it says device...

its PC/router/N900 using Wlan n from pc to router. Netgear Router, Hp Dv7 laptop.
i just checked and 192.168.0.4 is my laptop's IP xD lol.

i checked the wlan0 on the n900 to be 192.168.0.8,
but when i tried to ping my n900 from my pc it says:
Pinging 192.168.0.8 with 32 bytes of data:
reply from 192.168.0.4: Destination...

I did that but still same problem.. It keeps saying network connection timeout... Could it be IP problem as rolan and bunanson said? But i have used Xterm to check the IP address.

set password when installing
install homeip but didnt show up so i used ifconfig on Xterm to find IP address
