Wonger, thanks for this workaround. This really works... at least until you restart your phone. Then you'll have to do the mentioned steps again.

Deleting ~/.calendar/db will not help you in any way.
All calendar items (besides birthdays) are only visible up to 2 month in the future!
There are other threads talking about the same issue.......

I noticed disappearing events already in PR1.2 (holiday calendar with events one year in the future). May things got even worse with PR1.3!?

Rebooting the phone always was the best test for me. If entries are still visible after reboot, everything should be fine.

After reflashing PR1.3 I'm facing the same problem. 15GB of music and the music player keeps "Updating library".
In the past (<= PR1.2) it took only a couple of minutes to update the 15GB library....

I'm facing the same problem. Did you find a way to sync all items (instead of only a few month)???
Most probably I'll have to use syncevolution as a temporary fix.

I did an ota update to PR 1.3 and after leaving the phone in offline mode during the night, gtalk is not able to reconnect anymore. Doesn't seem to be fixed for me. I'll try to delete my gtalk...

Type of files (codec, bitrate) would be good to know.
Actually my music videos do play, but video playback is not smooth (looks like frames are skipped). Audio is playing fine.
I'm using h.264...

I just noticed that it is not possible to play hidden content (e.g. videos stored in ~MyDocs/Movies/.hidden folder). I have quite a lot of music clips which I added to a playlist (did that in xterm)....

Sorry for being a bit off topic, but I had more or less the same issue regarding the shuffle feature (stock media player).
I was able to solve the issue by enabling shuffle after starting playback....
