Interesting fixes and to think that all I had to do was "clear device" in the control panel to and it fixed itself. I guess the easiest fix is to just "clear device" even after reapplying the latest...

Yea, im downloading from maemo.org. In fact, just when I click on skype, it asks me to install. So I click ok, then it downloads the loader, installs loader, then asks me to download skype 4.5. I hit...

Downloading installs are failing
Anyone having a problem downloading any apps? I just reflashed os2008 and I can't download anything. It's giving me a failed error message everything it downloads the app.

Are the repositories down again?
I had to reflash os2008 on my n810 and now I can't download a thing to install. Not even Skype. Is there a way to know if servers are currently down? Or is it just me?

I've been hoping for skype to add video function but the closest we have to such (for tablet to pc video calls) is Gizmo Project. I believe you need version 4 which is beta and only for Windows...
