The laser function is in development, for the transformer ability you will have to wait until the next model pops out (nokia n9000p, where p means Prime) :D :D :D

but.. more simply.. can't i use my computer as a phone? the n800 uses the phone as a modem, can't i use my computer as a modem?

I have recently bought the n800 internet tablet and everything works fine.
Anyway, since I have no wi-fi access point at home, I wanted to connect it to the internet through another...
