hey worked it out
i installed u boot again and then typed in
apt-get install --reinstall kernel flasher
thanks for your help guys

nokia n900 pr 1.3

once i installed meego using u boot in the mmc
now i am trying to install nitdroid for which i read that i need bootmenu
so i tried to uninstall u boot....it showed uninstalled...

i tried it
it downloaded the file fine..
but then it showed....bizarre
error kernel file size not what expected
