I have to admit that the gui part is quite disappointing. I dowloaded the SDK, tried to use it, there is no documentation on how to make a desktop widget and the only example i found does not run on...

Ok, I've made some steps forward. I'm rewriting everything using QT and QCreator. By now, I've done a console-based version and if you want to help use your ssh-fu and try out the script to test it....
