Future for N800.... My crystal ball says the N800 with have nothing new when it comes to support for JAVA VM and a huge price drop.

Didnt mean to get anyone all bent over this... I was hoping the N800 would be sufficient as a laptop replacement while traveling. It comes VERY close, but the lack of a few software compatabilities...

I actually contacted Nokia before purchase to see if Java was supported, and ofcourse they said "Yes, you be able to see java from within Opera". I figured he was wrong but would give it a try...

Tried it, doesnt work... Not a "real" implementation of Java Virtual Machine for web applications.
Its a limitation of the web browser. Get me a browser that does Java VM and we can talk...

Just returned the N800 today... after 10 days of playing around with its limited functionality.

I do miss it every so slightly, but just couldnt find a good reason too. Coolness factor, nah......
