The reason is that iPhone and Android are supported, n900 is not.
When fcebook changed the authentication method, other manufacturers updated their software. But since Nokia does not support n900...

This is probably the same problem as in the thread
"Facebook Desktop Widget Shows Error Mesage - Unable to Connect Facebook"
It seems that facebook has changed the authentication method.

Do you mean that a new security certificate was included with the update 1.3.1, and this new certificate is invalid or exipred?
Or maybe the certificate was not checked at all before update, but...

I now had some progress in my attempt to get the dictionaries work.
As it was said in the original instructions (2nd message in this thread), you need to go to Plugins tab in QStarDict Settings...
