This is correct diagnosis, I myself had these problems after installing Ammyt's patch, the starving voltage was way too unstable for my phone, therefore I manually changed this to LV and thankfully...

hmmm...strange! My phone does not seem to like this patch at all, even though I have changed the overclock value to 1000 which is normally stable for me. Strangely enough the phone only reboots once...

I can confirm what the OP has reported HAM reports a corrupted installation file. I installed through xterm and everything completed fine.
