Last month I attended a Meego seminar conducted by Intel in Trivandrum. They are fully concentrating on x86 atom, on tablets and netbooks.... I don't think ARM is a priority for Intel, so is Nokia...

If not under warranty, could you open the device and check whether the usb socket snapped from the circuit board.

Why does people use the word 'Bricking' for everything from 'contacts not syncing' to 'usb socket snapped'
IMO N900 is unbrickable in any case!

From my experience with working on OMAP3530 EVM, I know that the OMAP processor is an unbrickable one. OMAP3430 is much similar to 3530.

Whatever you do, erase all the boot loader from nand or...
