Browser does not save files in correct folder?

My N9 seems to have developed a problem that I don't understand and can't solve.

I noticed the issue when using "Save to gallery" from the stock browser. The image did not show up in the Gallery....

Exactly the same issue here. Get's stuck on the second dot from the left :(
