Well I just finished talking to Nokia Support. They said that the N9 in Jordan is NOT disabled from having GPS. And to send it to a repair center to have it reflashed. So I guess I am going to try...

I am concerned that the reason I don't have the option for using the Internal GPS is BECAUSE I bought it in Jordan. The Nokia support over the phone said that occasionally Middle Eastern handsets do...

Unfortunately Nokia Care in the USA said that they wont/can't service the N9 for me, as it was never meant for my market. Which sounds like rubbish.

How potentially disastrous is the flashing...
