Using the "mobile" themes is not really an option, as they don't show links for quoting posts and they don't show links for attachments to posts...
Using the classic theme...

the LCARS PADD Theme installed the federation logo instead of the Nokia writing and "LCARS PADD Standby" instead of the hands.

Hi there,
yesterday I changed to the LCARS Theme Tabster commented on.
For me everything works (N810, OS2008) and the only application using hardcoded black text is the standard RSS reader...

It's very "lean" (meaning: not containig Flash...

to get around the chmod stuff, I just used X Terminal, used "sudo gainroot", started emelfm2 as root, edited the file in question and closed it again.
Editing the prefs.js doesn't need root...
