Come on guys, would think that as in any electronic database the ability to search and access specific information quickly and efficiently would be the driver, not the nature of the material itself.

Nope, happy with the 800. Use a BT keyboard when I need to write anything extended, which is actually fairly often since this has replaced my laptop. Virtual KB works fine for everything else.

Thanks all. Do indeed use Notecase as the most similar functionally, as well as a BT keyboard. Haven't yet figured the keymapping on Maemopad, of which all the keys work but the enter key refuses...

Thanks for responses. I've not been able to figure the album art. Kagu runs fine - it just shows the silver CD icons and reckon I'll live with that for the moment.

And my question would be along the lines that perhaps the album art is not in the right directory? Don't know enough to know where it is supposed to exist. My music is on an SDHC 4 gig card,...

Beautiful new theme. Having what's likely a simple problem. Says that it downloaded album art but all that's showing are CD icons. Suggestions? I did read through the manual and all these posts...

Reflashed N800. Thought that would take it back to its virgin state. Did not restore but used it straight from the reflash. Would not refresh, even though app mgr said machine had never been...

Thanks on 1636 info - will make a note of it. Wasn't having general problems so far as I knew - all Web browsing functions worked well - only refreshing in app mgr would fail. Have now reflashed...

Have tried to find solution in posts but missing answer if its there.

App mgr. failing to refresh. Have the 4.2007.26-8 version for N800.

Only repository enabled is...
