Thanks fir the tip. Sure enough, the keyboard profile was set to "Nokia SU-8W." Changing the profile to "Generic 105 key PC" fixed my problems.

Hmm.. I think I saw those feeds, too. However, I selected the one that was labeled just īNPRī. I probably havenīt listened long enough to hear the local station chatter.

For what it's worth, I went to www.shoutcast.com, and searched for 'NPR'. The stream they offer from NPR plays without problems on my N800. I'll also try the stream at npr.org, to see if I have...

The Sony Ericsson W600i with Cingular service (MediaNET unlimited service) works with my N800.
