Get it replaced folks......
Got my replacment N800 yesterday, and it has NO power on/charge trouble, so anyone with the problem should get a replacment. remember this may be discounted now, but it was a very expensive device...

I noted problems if for example you booted up the N800 then inserted the charger, charged a while, then removed the charger (while still on) played around for a while then powerd off, in this...

If i could replace the battery cover and continue i would probably keep my N800, even tho i found a temp fix mine is being collected for exchange on 02/01/2008

I may not be a linux master but iam pretty good with most things and i was not going to let this beat me ..... :-)
Its not every 3mins, as long as you wait the first 3 before touching it it...

I thought it funny that i never got any manual in the box, just a quick start guide leaflet? the box was sealed but just with a plane white sticker with the word "sealed" on it. I thought the box...

Hi folks well here is yet again the dreaded wont turn on n800 problem.
I got my N800 today at lunch time, and out of the box it turned on once to after i installed the battery, pluged in charger...

Thanks for the reply, my card is actually a Nokia branded 1gb item that came bundled with Navicore.
I can boot normaly with the mmc removed when i insert it i get about 10secs then either a lockup...
