It's not as big an issue as you make out - have you tried the iPhone 4 reception issue yourself I wonder? I can tell you the Nokia's do the same if you hold then in a particular area.

Apple bumper does solve the reception issue completely and phone sill looks cool.

Apps are great, iTunes works completely, maps have guidance and traffic and best of all - I still havent charged...

already sold N900 and waiting for iPhone 4 on Thursday. Don't like restrictive OS but the lack of Apps on Nokia, poor hardware (N97 and N900 USB socket), lack of voice Nav, MMS, OVI Suite (beta) etc...

Fairdo - but the original iPhone is many years old vs the N900 which is only 5 months old and is still being released in some markets. Plus of course the original iPhone does what it should have...

For what it is worth - I had 2 N97s which both broke and the software was absolute mince. The N900 is very good but..

No voice Nav
No MMS
No video calls (except Skype)
No support from OVI Suite...

I called Nokia care today to ask when we can expect Pr1.2 for the N900. I was told emphatically that it will not be officially released until this thread is over 10000 posts.
