Re: N900 vs samsung galaxy s
Did you not see under what context we were talking about hardware keys? Go back and read the discussion again.
Dan, there isn't a big argument. The way I look at it, mobile platforms have evolved...

Re: N900 vs samsung galaxy s
How is it a "misguided rant"? I have clearly stated that it is my opinion. The hardware buttons on the N900 seem to be implemented due to the lack of multitouch. Also, the only application that...

Re: N900 vs samsung galaxy s
In terms of web browsing, there isn't much of a difference on both handsets. The N900 still has some advantages in terms of the full desktop web experience. Flash compatibility and page rendering are...

Re: N900 vs samsung galaxy s
I've heard of an "end of September" 2.2 push for the Vibrant. Either way, a root and a custom rom are not a bad option either. Dual cores I read are not getting to the mass market by before end of...

Re: N900 vs samsung galaxy s
I'd like to add to the discussion as well by typing up my little comparison between th N900 and the Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant). I had an N900 which I sold and finally got a Vibrant on a deal that was...

Re: N900 generally slow and unresponsive
I stand corrected. I have disabled the widgets and now I'm monitoring. :) Havn't come across a slow down since yesterday, hopefully this will be the root of the problem.

Re: N900 generally slow and unresponsive
Yes I am sure. :) Because if it were any of the widgets, the device would slow down from the get go, meaning right after the reboot when the widgets initialize. But for your heart's content, I have...

Re: Next phone after N900
Definitely gonna go with the N8 this time. Android is still inferior to Symbian in terms of productivity, stability and multitasking and the more I see the N8, the more stable it seems. Almost...

Re: N900 generally slow and unresponsive
Okay so I've been searching and havn't found a decent solution to this problem either. Killing Hildonhome does sort of help but last I did that, the phone became responsive and then went back into...

Re: Thank you, Maemo Community!
This is by far the best community I've ever seen. Never has a device kept me this interested and this is mainly because of the Maemo community. I would like to thank all the developers, hackers,...

Re: N900 - WiFi Network Connection Error?
I'm in the same boat as everybody else. I've been really frustrated with this issue. Initially, everything went downhill when I installed Adblock Plus from the repositories. Upon further reading, it...
