  Yes, I am running it as root. As a normal user it runs fine, but when i try to run it as root is when i get the error. Thanks for the help. I will try this.

  The pdf reader that came with the Nokia 770 works fine for me. I don't have any lag inbetween changing pages, especially a 30 second lag.

  i can get nmap to run with no problems but when i try and run nmapfe i get this message: does anyone have the gui nmap working on their 770? am i doing something wrong?
