  I only basically tested, because I'm (obviously) not a Thunderbird user, but Claws and TB seemed to play well with each other on tags (aka labels, aka special flags).

  The bogofilter plugin is available because Bogofilter is a runtime dependancy, but bogofilter itself isn't available on Maemo right now; that's why it fails.

  You can use the global preference in Preferences/Other: "Synchronise offline folders as soon as possible", which fetches bodies for synchronised folders as soon as they're updated.

  I can't see how Diablo could add a bug in Claws Mail to prevent it from sending usernames with @ inside :) (IOW, it works for me).

  Try to do a tap-n-hold on the IMAP root folder and use "Check for new folders"; it should remove them. Alternatively, tap-n-hold these folders and use "Delete folder" or "Subscriptions/Unsubscribe"....
