  No, just mp3 files. I deleted everything a few days ago thinking a fresh install would help. I've only had the problem with the 1.6 series.

  removing the /home/usr/.purple/prefx.xml. after this Pidgin will start normally, although you will need to reconfigure it from the scratch

  I'm using the latest version0.18.4, and it updates perfectly. Unfortunately, it reverts to no updating after I power off the device and turn it back on. I have to change the update settings each time.
