        I've had a similar thing on mine. I got it between fiasco flash and eMMC flash. (it wouldn't take the eMMC, and I was forced to reset it)

        If you have weird buttons, with squares for your font......

        Still down - quite annoying!

        I really messed up trying the nitdroid thing (which I knew was a bad idea! But I'll never learn).

        Fortunately I still had the a PR1.2 images, and an OTA update did...

        I'm having a bit of an issue now.

        I noticed earlier in this thread that someone had a problem with a date appearing in 1900. And this bug was to be fixed.

        I've just had an error relating to 27-12-1900..... Which is actually empty.

        To add clarification on that.... The "Weather" calendar is some weird Google Calendar. I've removed it, and now erminig show "Work" as the Google calendar every time I edit a profile.

        yeah, same for me "Authentication Failed"... happened a few days ago, and still doing it today.

        I did get it working again, by turning phone off, logging into FB on PC, logging out of chat, back...

        All I can think of is: The USB port may be damaged; the cable may be damaged; or you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7.

        If you can, try another cable into a Linux or Windows XP computer.
