I'm 99% sure that there aren't any NTFS drivers installed. I'm on a 770, but I have fuse installed for its sshfs thing, which works almost awesomely.

Problem is I don't know how to re-compile or...

hm cool, but what would the point of ssh through hamachi be? ssh is already pretty secure.. Generally what I do is create a ssh tunnel if i need to worry about somebody catching my datas, or a proxy...

i dunno what hamachi is, but you can use ssh to make some tunnels...

Assuming you already have the xterm emulator installed:

1) add the repository with openSSH into your application manager's...

sudo gainroot

now i'm root and i run the command:

well i ran apt-get remove ssh, then apt-get install ssh and it works fine now. oh well. thanks alot man, i really appreciate it!!

the other one, I had drop bear but uninstalled it (client and serer) so i could get openSSH. i used the entry in app manager that was empty package with ssh as a dep.

you could just set up a socks proxy if your programs allow you to configure that...

ssh -D 9928 user@remote

Then go to your config in the program and set it up to use socks proxy with hostname...

well there's one listening to 2241 or something, but not on port 22. So nope I don't think its been set up. I saw in one of the wiki pages at maemo to go in and run /var/install/ssh/ssh_setup or...

I think there must be some sort of firewall blocking incoming ssh traffic to the 770. I can run "ssh root@localhost" from the 770, but when I do ssh root@192.168.0.105 it times out. :-(

Any idea...

btw, re-flashing worked fine. Had to re-insert the dang repositories so I could begin installing programs and such. I wish it were a bit more like gentoo so I didn't have to go get the list of repos...
