To EXPORT from microb
...Easy peasy. Can't do it on the device itself just yet (although I'm working on it). For now just download and install...
BookMarkBridge
from...
http://bookmarkbridge.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
How to:
This is Win7, but BookMarkBridge runs on Linux too. Doesn't seem to be a Mac version, but as long as you're not left handed or ginger this probably won't bother you
1. Backup your N900 Bookmarks
2. Copy the
bookmarks.zip
file to your desktop
3. Extract the
bookmarks.zip
file to a known folder. Bookmarks are contained in the MyBookmarks.xml file.
4. Open BookMarkBridge.
5. Click settings and add Konqueror.
6. Click browse and point it to your extracted MyBookmarks.xml file. You may get an error saying that it's not a normal bookmarks location. Just ignore this and accept.
7. Still in settings add your destination browser. The bookmark/favorites location should be correct.
Alternatively if you don't want to import directly into your desktop browser and want to export to file just point it to an empty folder instead. Again, you may get an error saying that it's not a normal bookmarks location.
8. Select Konqueror as source browser
9. Select your desired destination browser
10. Click merge.
11. Job done
