PurpleSX8, just FYI .deb packing is just a single file tar.gz file with the component files and a control file which tells dpkg/apt-get or whatever installer app where to put the component files on the installing system, you can open and browse a .deb file with almost any unzipping program as it is just wrapped inside an open file container. .deb is the standard package format brought in from Maemos heritage as a Debian Linux based distro; Debian one of the most open OS's around and will not include non-free components, even Firefox is recompiled for Debian without the trademarked Firefox logo as iceweasel . I just reread what you posted, blame my bad reading comprehension skills, you meant the project is fully open for anyone else to package as a .deb, sorry for that long winded unneeded lecture and again thanks for the work.
