Hey guys,

I recently switched to Canola after my Creative media player died. I've been using Canola mainly to play audio, but I want to also use it for playing video. I know mplayer allows you to skip forward and backwards during video playback (like a DVR) by clicking left or right, but I don't seem to see the same thing for Canola. This is really convenient when I'm running on the treadmill as I just push a button to jump past commercials --- however, I think it's be really difficult to drag the timeline forward in Canola while running.

Any ideas? Is it right under my nose somehow?

Thanks!

Just want to double-check here: nobody knows if there's a way to skip +/- 10 seconds by pushing a button while watching videos in Canola?

As far as I know, there's no such feature in Canola. I wish there was too. Hopefully once it's open source this might be added.

Thanks for the response! So, I will be sticking with mPlayer for video playback until this feature is added.
